Marketplace Rules

These rules apply to everyone using the Renovilo marketplace — homeowners posting renovation projects, contractors and workers submitting quotes or applying to jobs, and anyone messaging through the platform. They are part of, and read together with, our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

• Describe projects and quotes truthfully. Prices you send are estimates and should reflect your genuine intent.
• Contractors and workers must provide accurate business and contact details and only claim licences, insurance or certifications they actually hold.
• No fake listings, fake quotes, or misleading content.

Do not upload photos, documents or information you do not own or have permission to share. Do not post other people’s personal information without their consent. You are responsible for the content you submit.

• No harassment, hate speech, threats, or discrimination.
• No spam, scams, or fraudulent activity.
• No attempts to move payment or hiring off-platform to evade fees, protections, or these rules where they apply.

Do not post illegal content, prohibited goods or services, sexually explicit material, or content that infringes intellectual property. We may remove content and restrict accounts that break these rules.

Renovilo helps you find each other and communicate. The actual work, final pricing, contracts and payment are agreed directly between the homeowner and the contractor. Renovilo is not a party to that agreement and does not guarantee any job, quote, or outcome. Verify credentials and agree terms in writing before work begins.

You can report content or users you believe break these rules, and open a dispute where a project involves a selected contractor. We review reports and may take action including warnings, content removal, or account restriction. Moderation decisions are recorded. See the Privacy Policy for how this data is handled.

We may update these rules; the version and effective date above will change. If the rules change materially, we will ask you to accept the current version the next time you publish a project or submit a quote. Older acceptance records are kept and not overwritten.
